Innovate UK gave away £1.2bn last year, all of it going to UK based companies with a good idea. The money helps forward-thinking companies launch new products and services, thus creating and safeguarding jobs while positioning the UK as a leader in different markets. Grants are typically worth between 45% and 70% of the total project cost, so you can more than triple your R&D spend without giving away any equity, borrowing or waiting until your profits cover the costs. Courses are run on a first come, first served basis every Monday and Thursday afternoon at 2pm UK time, with a maximum of eight participants to allow for Q&A at the end.
